The programme, which is now in its third year, scooped the Training Initiative of the Year category at the London-based awards ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Jenny Jackson, Vital Energi\u2019s Resources Manager explained, \u201cThe main way to assess the success of a training programme is to look at its graduates and we are so proud of the young men and women who have taken part in our Net Zero apprenticeships programme. We are delighted that our training initiative was recognised at the awards ceremony, but more importantly, we are thrilled with the impact our apprentices are making on the business and are sure we have uncovered several future leaders of the net zero sector.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"rich-text-image rte\" data-anchor=\"\">\n<div class=\"wrap rich-text-image__wrap\">\n<div class=\"rich-text-image__img-holder\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"rich-text-image__img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vitalenergi.co.uk\/media\/wsads5r0\/53352948803_cd860b9cd2_k.jpg?crop=0,0.066682946682946678,0,0.081612111552231248&amp;cropmode=percentage&amp;width=835&amp;height=474&amp;rnd=133465190520330000\" alt=\"53352948803 Cd860b9cd2 K\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vitalenergi.co.uk\/javascript:\" class=\"js-read-more-rte read-more-btn\">Solution detail<span class=\"btn__link font-ico-plus\"><\/span><span class=\"btn__link font-ico-minus\"><\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"rich-text-case-study rte\">\n<div class=\"wrap rich-text-case-study__wrap\">\n<p>We created the programme in response to the skills gap in the low-carbon energy sector, which is a potential hurdle to the UK meeting its Net Zero Targets.\u00a0\u00a0 The Net Zero Apprenticeship Programme, which included a \u00a32m investment in a new Training Academy, sees apprentices work across a range of departments, such as commercial, design and work winning, as well as undertaking on-site placement at some of our projects throughout the UK.\u00a0 The scheme has been successful and Vital now employ 27 apprentices throughout the business.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"quote\">\n<div class=\"wrap quote__wrap\">\n<div class=\"swiper-container js-simple-quotes\">\n<div class=\"swiper-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"swiper-slide\">\n<div class=\"quote__holder\"><span class=\"quote__icon\"> <svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" width=\"36\" height=\"28\" viewbox=\"0 0 36 28\"><g fill=\"#F58220\" fill-rule=\"evenodd\"><path d=\"M12.319 0h3.648a2 2 0 0 1 1.838 2.788l-10.286 24A2 2 0 0 1 5.681 28H2.033a2 2 0 0 1-1.838-2.788l10.286-24A2 2 0 0 1 12.319 0zM30.319 0h3.648a2 2 0 0 1 1.838 2.788l-10.286 24A2 2 0 0 1 23.681 28h-3.648a2 2 0 0 1-1.838-2.788l10.286-24A2 2 0 0 1 30.319 0z\"><\/path><\/g><\/svg> <\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"quote__holder\">\n<p class=\"quote__text\">Vital articulated a vison for the future and have invested in it. Taking a view on not just technical and trade skills but also social impact and value.
