class=\"wrap rich-text-case-study__wrap\">\n<p>We would like to congratulate two of our clients on the news that they have been recognised at two of the UK\u2019s most prestigious awards ceremonies.<\/p>\n<p>Westminster City Council have undertaken a \u00a313m energy reduction project which has seen them install measures such as solar PV, heat pumps and lighting upgrades across their estate and, overall, improvements have been made to 61 buildings, with the work generating well over 1,600 tonnes of carbon reduction per year.<\/p>\n<p>It is an ambitious project which will play a large part in Westminster City Council reaching their net zero targets, so it was a fantastic achievement when they were recognised at the Energy Savings Awards, winning the Public Sector Project of the Year category for their carbon management programme.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"rich-text-image rte\" data-anchor=\"\">\n<div class=\"wrap rich-text-image__wrap\">\n<div class=\"rich-text-image__img-holder\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"rich-text-image__img\" class=\"btn__link font-ico-minus\"><\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"rich-text-case-study rte\">\n<div class=\"wrap rich-text-case-study__wrap\">\n<p>Our second clients to be singled out for their decarbonisation work are Bristol City Council and Goram Homes who took home two awards at the Bristol Property Awards.<\/p>\n<p>The first prize of the evening saw the 3MW water source heat pump and energy centre scoop the Best Sustainability Category, with the judges commending its innovative approach.\u00a0 This was another big boost to the project&#8217;s environmental credentials and can be added to the European Heat Pump Association award it won earlier in the year.<\/p>\n<p>The second award saw the panel of judges name Castle Park as the &#8220;Winner of Winners&#8221;, beating 18 other award-winning projects and organisations.\u00a0 This was the highest awards of the night and a fantastic achievement for the project, and everyone involved.<\/p>\n<p>Castle Park is largest water source heat pump in England, which takes heat from the nearby harbour and uses it to heat homes and businesses by pumping it into the Bristol Heat Network.\u00a0 The project saw the construction of a purpose-built energy centre as well as the abstraction and injection equipment which takes the water from the harbour and returns it once the heat has been extracted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"rich-text-image rte\" data-anchor=\"\">\n<div class=\"wrap rich-text-image__wrap\">\n<div class=\"rich-text-image__img-holder\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"rich-text-image__img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vitalenergi.co.uk\/media\/v3upcckf\/sjh_4106.jpg?anchor=center&amp;mode=crop&amp;width=835&amp;height=474&amp;rnd=133092587105330000\" alt=\"SJH 4106\"><\/div>\n<div success in November, after being Highly Commended in the HVAC Project of the Year category of the H&amp;V Awards and at the same event, Swansea Bay University Health Board was Highly Commended in the Net Zero Impact category for their decarbonisation work which included installing a range of energy conservation measures and building the UK\u2019s first solar farm dedicated to supplying an NHS
