{"id":1724,"date":"2022-04-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-01T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vitalenergi.creativespark.co.uk\/?p=1724"},"modified":"2022-04-01T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2022-04-01T00:00:00","slug":"psds-round-3-launches-next-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vitalenergi.creativespark.co.uk\/?p=1724","title":{"rendered":"We can help you achieve net zero as PSDS round 3 launches next month"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\ufeff<\/p>\n<p><meta name=\"viewport\" content=\"width=device-width, initial-scale=1, shrink-to-fit=no\"><meta http-equiv=\"X-UA-Compatible\" content=\"IE=edge\"><meta name=\"format-detection\" content=\"telephone=no\"><meta charset=\"utf-8\"><title>PSDS round 3 launches next month<\/title><meta name=\"description\" content=\"\"><meta name=\"keywords\" content=\"\"><meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index,follow\"><meta name=\"googlebot\" content=\"index,follow\"><meta name=\"twitter:card\" content=\"summary\"><meta name=\"twitter:title\" content=\"PSDS round 3 launches next month\"><meta name=\"twitter:description\" content=\"\"><meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"website\"><meta property=\"og:url\" content=\"https:\/\/www.vitalenergi.co.uk\/media\/press-releases\/psds-round-3-launches-next-month\/\"><meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"PSDS round 3 launches next month\"><meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"rich-text-case-study rte\">\n<div class=\"wrap rich-text-case-study__wrap\">\n<p>The Government has announced that the third round of PSDS funding will open for applications on 6<sup>th<\/sup> October, which is fantastic news for public sector organisations looking to decarbonise, but you need to act quickly to secure the funding.<\/p>\n<p>PSDS funding is delivered as a non-repayable grant and is a fantastic opportunity for public sector organisations who don\u2019t have all of the required budget to self-fund the development and delivery of decarbonisation projects, but first they must successfully navigate the applications process.<\/p>\n<p>The priority for PSDS round 3 is to provide funding to replace fossil fuelled heating systems at the end of their working lives, such as gas boilers, and replace them with low carbon heat sources combined with additional energy efficiency measures, to facilitate a \u2018whole building\u2019 approach to heat decarbonisation.<\/p>\n<p>Once the total budget for round 3 is confirmed, the majority of the 2022\/23 grant funding will be allocated to projects that need to be undertaken between 1st April 2022 and 31st March 2023, where the heating system has reached the end of its working life. In PSDS round 1, our clients received over \u00a3100m in funding, which represented over 10% of the total fund, and we hope to create similar partnerships in round 3.
